Capturing Life

It all started with the disposable Kodak cameras I would take to summer camp. I was fascinated by the camera's ability to freeze time and capture moments. With the invention of digital and cell phone cameras, photography became something I could do in my daily life. I wasn't just taking pictures I was composing works of art. I was finding the beauty in the world and presenting an idealistic version of my life by cropping out most of it. Photography has become a language to me; a way of communicating, and expressing myself, without using words.
